I am a medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary tumors. As a physician-scientist, my primary focus is developing prediction models of sensitivity and resistance to novel drugs that inhibit multiple targets within liver cancer cells. My other research interests include improving our understanding of the genetics and biology of gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) to facilitate the use of precision oncology to personalize care for cancer patients. My clinical focus is caring for patients with GIST and hepatocellular carcinoma.
