I am an Assistant Clinical Professor and the Medical Director of the Sanford Stem Cell Clinical Center at UC San Diego, specializing in treating patients with Indolent Lymphoma and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. My research focuses on understanding mechanisms of disease resistance and identifying new treatment combinations, driven by predictive biomarkers. I serve as the principal investigator for several clinical trials for patients with lymphoid malignancies. While treating the disease, my patient-oriented approach to cancer care includes a focus on patients and families’ psychological and emotional needs.
